Minas Tirith command primed

It’s the beginning of a month and time for a new One Ring painting challenge. This month the topic is a command group, i.e. a captain and some other command model. I chose to paint a banner bearer in addition to the captain in this challenge. Both are needed in the first scenario of the Battle of the Pelennor Fields book.

Since my warriors of Minas Tirith are all painted in movie colours (metal and black), these two guys will follow the same colour scheme. I’ll probably also paint the banner black and silver so that it fits nicely with them. Although I’m very tempted to try the gold on white scheme, which has been seen on some Gondorian banners. Well, we’ll see what happens.
