Knights of Minas Tirith banner work in progress

I painted the banner bearer completely. Just typical Minas Tirith black and silver style. There are some spots to correct here and there, but otherwise this guy is pretty much finished (except for his horse). He’s not yet glued on his saddle to make painting the horse easier.

And here are the horses of the regular knights. I started by spraying them brown, then did some quick highlights and sprayed a dark brown wash on them. The saddle cloth will be white (that’s just a light grey basecoat) and all the leather parts like saddle and reins black and chamfrons silver to keep them compatible with the monochromatic style of their riders. I will also need to paint the tails and manes, maybe just by drybrushing them with lighter shades of brown.

Faramir’s horse will be either white or black and I’ll paint it separately to let myself paint it in appropriate detail suitable for a captain.
