This month's Painting Challenge in One-Ring is "Winter", that is, not a specific miniature, but a generally winter or Christmans themed miniature. I chose a random miniature from my box, just something that was already primed and based so that I could get started quickly.

I'm not sure what I'm going to make out of this. I'll probably try adding snow to the base and maybe some colour scheme that doesn't look too much like the traditional gold & blue of the movie elves. Because the base will be different from my other miniatures, this will not be used in games so it does not have to match my other High Elves in any way.
